Your Support Powers Financial Stability in the Capital Region
At United Way of the Greater Capital Region, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to build a secure future for their families. That’s why we proudly power Capital Region VITA, offering free, safe, and secure tax preparation services to hardworking individuals and families.
Last year alone, 5,465 tax returns were filed through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, bringing over $9 million back into our community. These dollars help families pay bills, save for the future, and invest in opportunities that strengthen our region.
But we can’t do this work alone.
Your donation ensures that more families can access the resources they need—not just to get by but to get ahead. Together, we can continue to uplift the families and individuals in our community, helping them keep more of their hard-earned money.
Donate today and help us create a stronger, more equitable future for the Capital Region.
