United Way Funded Partners & Programs for 2018 - 2019

 United Way is proud to facilitate funding, expertise and programmatic solutions to the issues that matter most, to help the most people. Your local United Way funds more than 50 vetted, non-profit agencies and 56 different programs that address immediate, essential community work as well as provide emergency response to local crisis. Your local United Way is uniquely positioned to impact wide-ranging, long term issues that no one agency can solve alone like hunger, kindergarten readiness and financial literacy. In addition to viewing our funded programs below, you can see an alphabetized list of funded partners or view financial information including our IRS 990 forms. 

United Way's focus on BASIC NEEDS services include our strategic initiatives: United Against Hunger, United Way 2-1-1 and Family and Neighborhood Resource Centers. Our community investments support programs that advance Domestic Safety, Housing Stability, and Food Security and Nutrition. United Way's focus on EDUCATION includes our investment in programs that advance Early Care and Education, and Youth Development. United Way's focus on INCOME includes leading the CA$H Coalition of the Greater Capital Region and investments in programs that advance Financial Literacy and Stability, and Workforce Development. United Way's focus on HEALTH includes investments in programs that support Independent Living for people with disabilities and seniors, and Mental Health.
